Let's start:

1. Find your keywords

One. Are you a local business/service or a more global one?

I. from

The following sample business demo local example will be used:

Mr. Kung Fu is a karate school in Seattle, Washington, USA.

II. from

The following sample business demo will be used for a non-native example:

Susie Smith's Art and Crafts Blog

Bay is the time to think like a potential customer. What words do you want someone to type in a search engine [like Google] and list your site on the first page of the results?

I. Local business owners, please be sure to provide geographic words. For example, Mr. Kung Fu may use: ' Seattle Karate ' or ' Seattle Martial Arts '. He may also use a specific suburb of Seattle [eg 'Redmond' or 'Duvall'].

II. Non-local business owners like Susie Smith may use: "home art and handicrafts", "home decorations" or "art and crafts creativity."

C. Use the Google AdWords Keyword Tool [adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal] to help you find the keyword phrase that works best for you. Pay attention to the LOCAL and GLOBAL searches that best represent your market. Warning: The more popular your keyword phrases are, the more competition you may have. If it's too popular, you probably won't be the first page of any search engine results. Try using a more specific keyword phrase with a search volume below 40,000 per month.

d. Pick the best-selling SIX best keywords for you. Write it down in order of importance. Keep the list convenient - you'll use them later in this article.

2. Put in your website title

One. Find the HTML markup at the top of each HTML page in the HEADER section. Your title will be between these two tags.

Enter your TOP THREE keyword phrases [in order], separated and saved here with 'pipe' characters [|]. Redundant words only need to be used once here. See the example below. The words "Seattle" and "Home" are used only once, but for other keyword phrases:

1] Mr. Kung Fu: Seattle Karate Martial Arts | Self-prevention

2] Susie Smith: Family Crafts | Decorations | Ideas

3. Put in your website keywords and descriptions

One. For HTML sites - find the HTML markup at the top of every HTML page in the HEADER section. Your keyword and site description will be between these two tabs.

Enter your SIX keyword phrase in the Keywords section of the Bay. Separate each phrase with a comma. Here, there are extra words in your phrase that are ok. E.g:

1] Mr. Kung Fu will enter: Seattle Karate, Seattle Martial Arts, Seattle Self-Defense, etc.

2] Susie Smith will type: home crafts, home decorations, crafts ideas and more.

d. Enter 3-5 sentences in your website description section to describe your business/service. Try inserting the TOP THREE keyword phrase into your description. Be sure to do this in a readable and natural way, otherwise it looks like ' keyword padding'.

4. Create your home page [login page] content

One. If we don't delve into how to create an effective landing page design, we only focus on the SEO aspect of the landing page. Your landing page is the most important page, so we need to include your keyword phrase in your content. Your first three keyword phrases should contain multiple times. Insert keyword phrases in a readable and natural way to avoid looking like "keyword fills." Try to use as little content as possible. If you insert more keyword phrases than I recommend, you may be penalized, so please do not perform the content listed here. Insert them as follows:

I. Your #1 keyword phrase - insert it into 4 different locations.

II. Your #2 keyword phrase - insert it into 3 different places.

III. Your #3 keyword phrase - insert it into 2 different locations.

IV. Your #4, #5 and #6 keyword phrases - insert once.

Bay Content Creativity - You may find it difficult to provide enough content to naturally insert keyword phrases. This is a delicate balancing act. If you create too much content, new users on your site will leave [no one really wants to read everything]. But then again, you need some content for search engine optimization purposes. Here are some helpful content tips to help you get SEO keyword phrases without overusing your landing page with useless 唠叨.

I. Write a brief description of your business/service. When someone visits your site for the first time, you need to let them know about your work and how to help them meet their needs. A general description of your business/product/service is very useful for new visitors to your site and is a good place to use in SEO keyword phrases. Again, don't overdo it. Simplify things.

II. Insert some images - Images are a great way to break the monotony of a lot of content and get some keywords. Each image you insert into the content area is allowed to use the TITLE and ALT tag descriptions. Dial one of your keyword phrases into it. Use the same phrase for both tags. Make the image a clickable anchor that links back to the login page.

III. Testimonials - The testimonials are great. Get some from some of your customers/clients and add them to your landing page. Slightly "tweak" them to include your keyword phrase [if your customers/customers don't mind]. Try not to pay too much attention to these. Including too much, people will feel bored and leave.

IV. Awards / Articles - Showcase any awards and/or articles you may have about your business/service. Write some references in their content. ' Adjust ' them to fit some of your keyword phrases. Be careful not to change them too much... after all, they are references. If you mistakenly quote an article, you may have some objections to the author. Make sure that any changes you make are very subtle and do not change the author's expectations.

5. Place keywords in FOOTER on your website

One. There are a thousand ways to implement internal linking, but for the sake of simplicity, just create three links in the footer of your site and use the TOP THREE keyword phrase to point to your picking page. For most site building tools, the footer is "static" and will appear on every page, so these links will appear on all of your pages. Below is a keyword phrase that our example might put in its footer. Keep in mind that these will be set to three separate links to the login page:

1] Mr. Kung Fu: Seattle Karate Seattle Martial Arts | Seattle Self-Defense Force

2] Susie Smith: Home Crafts | Home Decorations | Art and Craft Ideas

6. Add your website to the free DIRECTORIES

One. The free catalog is almost worthless. Don't waste your time. Some paid directories are worth it, but they are not free. This article is about free SEO. Only one free directory is worth submitting your URL: DMOZ [dmoz.org/add.html]. Be sure to drill down to the lowest category you think your site belongs to, then click the "Suggested URLs" link at the top. Unfortunately, they are so overloaded that it can take several months to list your site. But... if / when they do, this is a very good SEO point for you!

7. External links to your website

One. Linking to your website from other websites is the best way to help SEO. If you have any friends or acquaintances with quality websites that you trust, ask them if you can add links to their website. Be sure to use one of your TOP THREE keyword phrases as a link to your website's landing page.

If you don't know people with websites, don't worry. Skip to the next step. Don't look for link exchanges with strangers. If you go to find a website that you don't know about posting links, you may hurt your SEO instead of helping it. Because you are a newcomer to SEO, people will use you. Search engine optimization is a complicated matter and you may not have time to master it. You better not try this kind of thing together.

8. Social bookmarks

One. There are hundreds of social bookmarking sites. For the sake of simplicity, we will only submit your website URL to 5 better URLs. You will need to create an account on each account [if you don't already have one]. You may want to add a "bookmark button" to your browser toolbar for future use.

I. Digg[digg.com]

II. Del.icio.us [delicious.com]

III. StumbleUpon [stumbleupon.com]

IV. Reddit [reddit.com]

v. Propeller [propeller.com]

Once you have logged in to each website, look for the "Submit Link" or "Submit Website" link/button. Submitting a link to your website usually includes the following information:

I. URL - The "www" address that people enter in the browser address bar to access your website.

II. Title - The title of your website.

III. Description - A brief description of your website. You might want to use the same description that was previously created for the description meta tag of your site.

IV. Keywords - Use your SIX keyword phrases here, separated by "commas" or "spaces". Take a look at the tags on the form, which should tell you how to separate the word phrases.

9. Join the link

One. You can join thousands of social/professional network groups/forums, but for the sake of simplicity, we will join this: Link-In [linkedin.com]. Create an account with them [if you haven't already done so]. Make sure to add a link to your website in your website
