What is qigong?
Many of my readers and business partners probably don't know what Qigong is. When people ask me what I have done and respond by telling them that I am a qigong male ', many people don't know what it is. Their first connection is the practice of Tai Chi. Since the 1960s, Taiqi has been the mainstream of the English-speaking world. Until then, this was just something that Asians practiced in the park in the morning. A mysterious slow movement that looks boring!
Since it began to enter our mainstream culture, coupled with its scientific enlightenment of various physical, emotional and spiritual interests; Tai Qi has been widely popular in the United States and has influenced many forms and loyal fans and students of the school.
Qigong is now an energetic newborn. Although this may be new to many people in the United States, Qigong has an ancient roots, earlier than Taiqi and acupuncture, and is often referred to by practitioners as the oldest branch of Chinese medicine. . Other branches include acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage [massage], cupping and dermabrasion [scraping].
Qigong application
I like to call Qigong the "mother of Taiji." It is an ancient practice of meditation and physical and mental exercise that is associated with subtle energy vibrations in the universe that contribute to health, balance and longevity. Qigong literally means "work hard for one's life force" and there are some different qigong training schools: military, spiritual and medical. Based on your inclinations, your teacher and your ultimate path - you will most likely find yourself trained in one of the three main qigong applications. One of these three points is the most attractive to me. Although I am more susceptible to the spiritual progress of Qigong and my ability to curb more "healing power", I do not deny the importance of having a strong defense. And the ability to apply Qigong to its military applications.
Now, since I can only speak according to my own experience, I believe that potential students should educate him/her before attending a loyal Qigong practice. This is because these ancient practices are very powerful, and if you don't practice properly, you will further exacerbate any condition or "gas" deviation in your body. All of this can eventually lead to more serious illnesses and internal physical breakdown of vital organs. These patterns can be changed just to give you a better idea of how you practice. Basically, if Qi is moving in the wrong direction before you start practicing, and you start increasing this flow through daily exercises, does this mean that you are correcting the Qi bias, or just enhancing your own wrong behavior? We may not know that we are actually taking the wrong action, but in the end your body will not lie.
#1Find the right teacher
This may be the most important thing before starting Qigong practice. You may need guidance and guidance. Look for people with more than 20 years of experience in practice. You may also want to find a person with a strong spiritual life and a teacher who authorizes students to find their own identity, rather than a teacher who allows students to admit to follow and serve themselves. I have often been asked by people who have studied with me. When I told them that my teacher was neither Asian nor male, people were surprised. This is almost a kind of reverse racism that we have experienced in the United States, about people who respect and master the ancient Asian energy art. It seems that Caucasians, African-American or Latino women can neither master these forms nor expect to have any profound wisdom or knowledge in the Tao.
You are drawn to learn or find the most accessible teacher; or, as is the case in many areas, the person who is best at marketing. Don't be fooled by this. Often, you'll find that the best teachers are hidden in small spaces, with few students, and in places that are unlikely. You might ask, if they are such great masters - why are they so few students? ' A good question! My answer is, "Because training is usually rigorous, requires a high level of integrity and truth, and requires a fluid self to progress." You know an old adage: ' When students are ready for teachers to appear ' ;Time? Ok, you will know when to find the right teacher. Believe and follow the truth.
#2 Consider making a diagnosis
Although you may feel that you are completely healthy and ask why you need a diagnosis, there is a certain degree of sensitivity in our body. Many of us are completely unaware of and unable to "tune into" because of our own abuse of attention and awareness. what does that mean? Most of us [including myself] overuse our intellectual and spiritual attention simply because we have been patterned. To begin training deep into internal consciousness requires a mental shift of attention and must be facilitated by the owner. It is highly unlikely that beginners will easily enter the ability to "read" the energy structure of their internal organs, airflow through the meridians, pulses, tongue, blood and other diagnostic components of the mind/body. For example, if you happen to have an angry tendency and are diagnosed as having a "hepatic yang rise", then it is in your best interest not to practice the exercise to increase the energy of the body. You will never know to stay away from the flame cycle [ From the back of the spine to the front of the body].
#3All your own location
Find something natural, natural and more natural. It's important to set a fixed position for your practice and can help you train your practice at the beginning. If you're trying to get up and go to a local park, or a beautiful meadow by the sea, or in the open space behind a canyon in your home, your connection to space will help you be more self-disciplined in your approach. You will start to create your own energy vortex in "your position" and you will begin to be summoned and return to that position - almost like you have a second home. Having your own indoor studio space is definitely a luxury, and it will come in handy in extreme weather, but there are some very special things in the outdoor activities and in close contact with elements such as nature, universe, heaven and earth, and the universe. All those universal forces surround you.
#4Arranging time
We all know the importance of the timetable, but few of us really stick to one. It is very important to schedule once a week - especially when running your own home business. It's easy to find yourself off track, wasting time surfing on the internet or hanging out in the mud of social media jungle. Keep in mind that we are running the business and all successful businesses are running as planned, hoping to achieve a certain number of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals. Some business owners use only more complex resources when planning, running, and scheduling their business. If you are going to the gym, rehearsing a song or practicing your qigong, it makes no difference.
Arranging an exact time may be more beneficial than what is foreseen at this particular time. People in your community may start to notice you and you will be a fixture for your specific outdoor space. If this is your future goal, this may ultimately help you develop your own practice. It will prove to people in your community that you are a dedicated and disciplined practitioner who is fully committed to your practice and that if you are correcting the deviation of Qi, they may even be looking at you in the park to make a form Start to experience some treatments. If they are not so sensitive, then they may just like to be with you and will not knowing why.
#5保持水润
It is very important to keep moisture when doing any exercise or exercise. A large part of our body makeup is water, and drinking water during practice breaks can be a great help for your longevity and practice. The practice of Qigong opens the body and allows you to absorb the universal energy that can begin to penetrate our body: blood, nerves, organs, bones, bone marrow and the entire cell matrix. Because your body is open, Qi begins to penetrate all physical levels, your cells are activated [partly through your attention], they become more susceptible to Gucci's input, or the vitality absorbed by the body comes from water and grains. .
#6一笔记本
You may never know when you will have these moments of inspiration and will really experience the changes in your practice. The moment when you are really connected to the energy of the Earth's heart, or when you feel deeper aerodynamics on your belt, or when you feel deep ancestral sorrow in your lungs, discover the sound and clear moments through your treasure . As you begin to paint the growth and development of the exercises, you will want to have a handy notebook, and you definitely want to decide the materials and knowledge within your time with the owner. Document your developments and discoveries and add them to the already rich knowledge of qigong and energetic medicine. For this reason, Chinese medicine is teaching - we are very grateful to other students and masters for their own detailed records of discoveries, methods, experiences and universal truths. I like the words of Huang Di Nei Jing [the Canon of the Yellow Emperor]...
