Scratch Scrapbook - General tips on how to make your own scrapbook from scratch

Scrapbooks are not "to win" for the most purchases, they are about letting your memories be recorded on paper for later generations to observe and learn. If you encounter difficulties in your life and need some coping mechanisms, rather than going through the dark path through the choices you make, it is very therapeutic. I used it to help me out of the dark road I want to go! As a family, scrapbooking is a great thing, taking a photo once a week in a family photo album, which is great for everyone, you can see what happens in special events and daily activities. !

One thing that shocked me was that MEN seems to think that this is a woman's craft, they don't need scrapbooking. However, I can point out that one of my favorite stamping and scrapbooking product designers is Tim Holtz, who has a great ink pad series, and more now! People are being asked to participate more and more in the design team - so don't think it's just a "woman's thing", men have memories! You also have a lot of divorced fathers - they want to reserve their time with their children! In addition, there are a variety of scrapbooking methods, just find the way that suits you and your situation!

When you create a scrapbook album from scratch, you will be here to use your creativity!

1. Start with one thing - the most important part of the project - the supplies or kits you will use. If you start here, everything else will be in place. This will always be different depending on the item you are working on and the supplies you choose.

2. Pick photos for the project. As long as you know what type of album you are going to do, then you know which photos you can choose for this project. Don't pick each one - choose the ones that are most relevant to the "theme".

3. Collect all the supplies, you need to make sure you have enough things for the entire project. I like to use a "snapbook kit" that contains all the paper, decorations and albums - because such things are better because they are coordinated with each other and have been done for you. If you are more experienced, feel free to pick the supplies you want to use.

4. Start planning good things. If there are instructions - and you want to create an album precisely, follow them. If you want to add your own stuff, then add some other supplies with kits such as theme stickers or die cuts, ribbons, stamped images, or anything else you might have.

5. Add content to each set of pages, such as blank paper, photos, and any notes in a specific page or collection of pages. Then start adding decorations to each set of pages you are working on.

Now, if you really start with "scratch" and don't use any type of kit, I will also remember the following:

Needed supplies

Album

Paper [pattern and plane]

Letter sticker or die cut or saying

Decoration

Your basic toolbox project

• Decide on the size of the album and start from there.

• Do you want page coordination, or do you want the inspiration and theme of the picture?

• Start picking the paper you need, I always choose more paper than I actually use, because it helps me to create better by not being so picky about the colors I use.

• You want the title on each page - do you want them in the letter sticker, die cut - or the title in front? Start by determining the title you want to use on the page you are using.

• View the decorations you want to use - do they match the paper and color you choose? If so, start adding these to the page you want them to go.

• View Brad, stamps and ink colors, ribbons, and even embossed powder [if you know how to operate the technology] and start collecting the types of things you need.

• If you need extra paper, you can remove some extra paper from the back so that your photos will be given a specific color throughout the project.

Making scrapbook albums from scratch - whether using kits to get supplies and inspiration, or using what you already have at home - can be one of the best things you can do! The people you are making the album always feel that it is important that you take the time to create something for them. Those things that will be learned from the things you have created in time are priceless - technically wise and personally wise! For more ideas, be sure to check out the blog!
