Cricut personal cutting machine you need to know before you buy

You need to conduct research before putting the hard-earned money into the die-cutting system. There are various models on the market, and after careful consideration, this is the model and reason I chose.

The Cricut Personal cutter from ProvoCraft is a great version of your scrapbooking tool. There are some different Cricut personal cutting machines. Cricut Expressions can cut 12 x 24 inch paper. Cricut Original cuts 6x12 inch paper. Cricut cutting pads have a mild adhesive that holds the paper in place during the cutting process. Each Cricut machine comes with an ink cartridge, and the Cricut Original comes with George and Basic Shapes, a basic ink cartridge that combines capital letters and shapes called George. Each cartridge includes an ink cartridge, a keyboard cover, and some with instructions. So once you open the new Cricut Personal tool, you can start the experiment right away. Along the track, you can use other Cricut cartridges to further extend the functionality of the Cricut machine. Every year, ProvoCraft introduces new Cricut Cartridges, which come in a variety of themes, from the alphabet, sports, gardens to Disney characters.

On the Cricut Personal tool, you can adjust the blade depth, pressure and cutting speed. This helps to cut different materials. Lowering the cutting speed results in better results, more fragile scrapbooking paper, and medium pressure allows for sharper cuts on the scrapbook card instead of the softest pressure setting.

You can cut letters and shapes by adjusting the size dial from 1 inch to 51⁄2 inch. Available sizes are 1,11⁄4, 11⁄2, 2, 21⁄2, 3, 31⁄2, 4, 41⁄2, 5, 51⁄2.

Ability to load scrap paper, cut a few letters, unload paper, and reload it to the point you can reach, saving time and paper.

There are six creative features. Signs, slots, charms, silhouettes, shadows and shadows.

Sign Imagine a picket sign with letters or shapes

Slotting - an oval circle with a slit at the top for winding a ribbon or string

Charm - Your shape or letter has a circle attached to the top so you can use Brad to attach letters to your layout

Contour - Cut the outline of letters or shapes. Great for budget awareness because you can keep the negative cuts of the letter and use it on another layout.

Shadow - Cut letters or shapes, slightly larger than normal, and then use them behind normal-sized letters to give your title a shadow and a 3D look. This feature is available for all Cricut cartridges.

Shadow blackout - Similar to shadows, except that there is a cut in the middle of 0. For example, a shadow power outage will only create an external shadow and 0 without a cut.

With so many different Cricut cartridges, you need to investigate the function of each cartridge before purchasing to ensure you get enough use from every investment. Consider whether they only provide shapes or letters and shapes. I bought several shapes of ink cartridges, because the shape is so complicated, I am not particularly worried that the Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge does not have an alphabet. Christmas cheering cartridges are something I won't have.

ProvoCraft also released a more robust cutting blade that can cut thicknesses up to 1.5 mm. This means that all Provo Cricut Personal cutters with this new insert are capable of cutting particleboard, vinyl, fabric and magnetic sheets.

Other Cricut Personal tool accessories include Cricut handbags, Cricut tools, Cricut JukeBox and Cricut Create, so why not enjoy Cricut Scrapbooking. If you would like more information about Cricut Machines, please visit http://www.happy2scrapbook.com
